A dynamic and rapidly evolving early-stage business
that has 3 main business strands: 1) DVDs, on-line
video and wwebinars for recruitment consultants, managers & directors
2) Live training and 3) Management consultancy.
Established in 2002 by successful entrepreneurs Mike Walmsley and Alex Arnot, the company already has in excess of 800 paying customers in the UK alone. It also has a smaller number of clients in other international countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Eire the USA, China and Singapore.
The main function of the role will be to plan and carry out emarketing, direct
marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and
develop sales of RTP products to UK and international
clients, in accordance with agreed business plans.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities |
1. Reporting to the Sales Director, to help plan and implement
marketing strategy, including
online affiliate based
advertising and PR –
UK and global.
2. Plan and carry out emarketing and direct marketing activities (principally
direct mail) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values,
product mix and timescales.

Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing
to clients by main market sector and RTP’s products.

Creating and delivering an international e-marketing strategy

Proactively setting up affiliate partnerships in the
UK and globally

Lead generation using e-marketing tracking software

9. Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, and
protect and develop the company's brands via suitable PR
activities and intellectual property management.
10. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed
budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts
with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product
launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and
telemarketing.
11.
Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability
for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes.
12.
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
13.
Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and
systems, and update relevant information held in these
systems.
14.
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions
necessary to perform duties and aid business and
organisational development.
15.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Practical
requirements

- Work from the St Albans
office at least 1 day per week.
- The job holder is expected to attend business functions,
promotional events and travel on sales campaigns, nationally and internationally
out of hours and at weekends.
- Phone availability from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
